After running a vintage shop for over two years I can say, without a doubt, the question I get asked the most is "Where do you get all your stuff?" My response is always the same, "Everywhere!" This Monday I laughed to myself about how true that is when Dan and I were on a day trip to a small town in Oregon to take photos of the Fall leaves. Of course I spotted a dingy looking antique shop the minute we drove through their main street. After some picture taking and drinking a beer at the local dive bar, Dan let me head into the shop and I was so happy he did. I found a GORGEOUS Lilli Ann coat and two (TWO!) plaid silk umbrellas with lucite handles. What luck!
These items are in the shop now. The coat is perfect for the chilly Portland weather we're having and the umbrella would be a perfect gift. That plaid is just amazing.
Searching for treasures is one of my favorite parts of my job and it always feels great to practically stumble across these beautiful things.
