Vintage Inspriration: Palm Springs

Dan and I are off on Monday to a much-needed vacation to Palm Springs! We've been there once before but only for a short trip. I'm so excited to spend a bit more time there this go-around.
For most of the 20th Century Palm Springs has been a popular resort destination for the Hollywood elite. It's known for it's modernist architecture in both hotels and single family homes. Even now there are parts of Palm Springs that make you feel like you've stepped into the 1950s!

Some of the most noteable mid-century attractions are the Elvis Honeymoon Hideaway, a beautiful modernist estate where Elvis and Priscilla honeymooned in 1967. As well as the absolutely amazing Frank Sinatra estate, commissioned by old blue eyes himself in 1947 and where he lived with Ava Gardner.

I can't wait to share photos of our trip next week. I will be sure to post some here when we return and also a few on Instagram along the way.
